Item description from the seller
This vintage Fenton bowl is an extremely rare find, with green opalescent uranium/vaseline glass that glows under UV light. The hobnail pattern and 1960’s style make this bowl a one of a kind piece for any collector. It stands at 2.5 inches tall, with a width and length of 4.25 inches, and weighs 13 oz. The only thing missing is the Fenton sticker on the bottom. I have attached a picture of the original 1959 flyer showing this piece, Fenton # 3754GO. This is called a Violet Bowl from Fenton, was only produced in 1960 & 1961, and as far as I can tell this and the Milk Glass is the only lines this bowl was offered in. It’s like a crimped rose bowl, but the crimping is tighter. I’ve looked far and wide and can’t see where one has sold recently.
Handmade in the United States with hand blown glass. This original piece from the mid 20th century (1941-1969) has production style of art glass and a glossy finish, is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or hazing. Please see all pics and feel free to message us with any questions you might have.
